The Respectful
Divorce Kit
End a marriage with dignity. Protect your children. Build a co-parenting life they can grow up strong in.
RESPECTFULLYDIVORCE.COM

Your kids won't remember the paperwork. They'll remember how you treated each other.

Whether their parents could sit in the same bleachers. Whether holidays felt like a tug-of-war. Whether they were ever asked to carry a message or pick a side.

Most divorce advice stops at the legal process. This kit is about the part that lasts: how to stay a steady, respectful parent while everything changes, and how to build two homes your children feel safe in.

A look inside

Real words for the moments you're dreading

Kids ask the hardest questions at bedtime and in the car. The kit gives you short, honest answers you can use tonight.

From Part Two
"Is it my fault?"
"No. Never. This was a grown-up decision about grown-up problems. Nothing you did caused it, and nothing you could have done would have stopped it."

"Do I have to choose?"
"Never. You get to love both of us, all the way. That's how it should be."
The backbone of the kit

Five principles to come back to on the hard days

  1. Not through the kids.Never messengers, spies, or judges.
  2. Like a business.Polite, prompt, specific, in writing.
  3. For the long game.Picture their wedding day. Act toward it.
  4. Feel first, decide later.A 24-hour rule for anything that stings.
  5. Protect their other parent.Your child is half of each of you.
Why I made this
[Scott: your story goes here.] Two or three sentences in your own voice about what you went through and why you built this kit.

I'm a coach by trade, so I built this the way I'd coach anyone through something hard: clear principles, honest conversations, a plan, and tools you can use on a Tuesday night when a text message makes your blood boil.

A marriage can end without a family breaking. This kit is how.

Questions

Before you buy

Is this legal advice?

No. The kit is education and practical tools. Laws differ by state, so use it to get organized and have better conversations, then take your questions to a family law attorney or mediator.

What if my ex won't cooperate?

Most of the kit works even if only one parent uses it. Chapter 5 covers BIFF responses and parallel parenting, a lower-contact approach built for high-conflict co-parents.

My kids are teenagers. Is it still useful?

Yes. The scripts cover every stage from toddlers through teens, including how to give older kids a voice without putting them in the middle.

We're already divorced. Is it too late?

No. Chapters 7 through 9, the monthly check-in, and the new-partner checklist are written for life after the decree.

How do I get the files?

Right after checkout you'll get a download link by email. It's a single PDF you can read on any device and print at home.

If you are not safe: this kit assumes both parents can communicate without fear. If there is abuse, threats, or coercive control, safety comes first. National Domestic Violence Hotline (US): 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.
